Join the Pembroke Kinsmen Club!

With the generous support of many local people and businesses, the Pembroke Kinsmen Club has raised over $20,000 in the past year and a half, redistributing these funds back into our local economy to support the many great projects which make our community a richer place in which to live.

The Kinsmen are committed serving the community's greatest need!

July 5th, 2008.  Kinsmen President Shawn Gallant donates $500 to Alley and Davey, two university student siblings biking across Canada to raise money and awareness for CF, the Kinsmen national charity.

Kinsmen members Brian Abdallah and Jim Malcolm attended a benefit dance in the Fall in aid of Waltham youth Brandon Harkins. Brandon suffers from Cystic Fibrosis and the community was raising funds to purchase him a vest.  The vest vibrates, which frees up the mucus in his chest, greatly improving his breathing capability and time spent physically patting his back.  The Kinsmen Club of Pembroke donated $500 towards this cause.  Brandon's supporters successfully raised the full amount required, in excess of $15,000.  Cystic Fibrosis is the Kinsmen Clubs of Canada national charity.

At the Jann Arden concert last April, Dell Canada Foundation presented the Pembroke Kinsmen Club with a $1500 donation towards its service projects within the community. The donation was made possible through Hendrik Pape a Dell Canada employee and Kinsmen Club of Pembroke member.
